LOVE APARTMENT - NATIONAL CENTRE OF PERFORMING ARTS OF CHINA

job title - SOUND mixer/ENGINEER

ABOUT THE SHOW: In Love apartment, two actors are "imprisoned" in a confined stage space. They linger, collide, and escape. The plot changes but unpredictable. The minimalist space and body vocabulary are expressed through on-site filming, video editing, and dance choreography. This stage play presents a multi-level expression of reality and illusion, moving and standing, uneasy and firm, dazzling and thought-provoking.

"Love Apartment" adopts a new theater art concept "POV" (point of view), that is, shooting by on-site photographers, editing by editors, and using film techniques to organically and effectively project characters on the big screen through the stage. A cross-border approach between art categories, using video short films, script fragments, stage transfer, and action performance to promote the plot and development of the story. The introduction of multimedia images in the play is not just to enrich the visual expression and expand the stage space. The director Yang Yang hopes that through the reversal of the POV perspective, the audience can not only participate in this love game, but also stay outside, watch, and consider.
